Dear Linda and Family, My prayers are with you. I knew John through our support group - John always said exactly what he was thinking and I liked that about him. I admired his endurance and strength to fight to the best of his ability. We are all a little bit better for having known and witnessed John's journey as a role model and a soldier against this awful disease as he shared his story, desires, dreams and dissappointments. It can never be said that he went down without a fight - he was a soldier until the end and I will miss his insight, wit, honesty, and individualism that made John, John. Pam Maenpaa
